Ukraine's power facilities have faced increased attacks in the past few days

During the night, Russian aerial assaults have resulted in electricity outages in extensive areas of Ukraine's capital, the Ukrainian capital.

A number of civilians were wounded while local people in eastern districts were plunged into darkness and faced interruptions to water systems, as stated by city officials.

Meanwhile, a seven-year-old child was lost their life in a separate assault in the Zaporizhzhia region in the southern area, according to local officials.

Russian forces has increased assaults on electrical systems over the past few days, while officials has demanded "real steps" from allies to increase pressure on Russia.

"What's needed is not window dressing but firm measures - from the America, Europe and the Group of Seven - in providing air defence systems and implementing restrictions," was stated in a public message.

Officials stated that 450 drones and more than 30 missiles targeted energy facilities, labeling such strikes as "strategic and deliberate" and against "critical infrastructure" as winter approaches.

The energy minister said Moscow was "conducting extensive attacks" and repair crews were laboring to restore power.

A series of attacks hit electrical systems and residential structures in the capital.

Five out of the nine people wounded in the strikes on the capital have been taken to hospital, as confirmed by city authorities.

Area administrators said the urban area experienced intense attacks overnight. A young boy was killed and three other people were wounded.

The attacks come after nights of aerial attacks in the region, sections of which remain under the control of Russian forces.

The entire country is in a state of readiness for advanced weapon attacks, which are tougher to identify.

National leaders told the media that Russia was intentionally trying to demolish the country's energy grid, with assaults already impacting fuel infrastructure.

Officials stated utility staff and authorities were anticipating additional strikes.
